Connie Elaine Goins, age 73 of LaSalle, MI, passed away Monday, October 19, 2026 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.

Born October 9, 1953 in Monroe, MI, Connie was the daughter of the late William and Thelma (Cole) Killion. She attended Lincoln Elementary School and Monroe High School. On November 20, 1970, she married Kenneth R. Goins at Monroe Missionary Baptist Church. Together they raised two children.

A member of Kentucky Park Missionary Baptist Church, Connie enjoyed listening to Gospel music, woodcarving, flower gardening, playing computer video games, attending Sunday church services, and talking on the phone daily to her family and friends.

Connie is survived by her husband, Rev. Kenneth Goins; daughter, Jodi Roberts of Monroe; son, Nathan (Lyn) Goins of Oak Harbor, WA; five grandchildren: Keirsten Johnson, Kenneth Roberts, Anthony Busenbark, Cole Goins, and Jakob Goins; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by two sisters, Trudy Jennings and Cynthia Johnson.

All are welcome to visit from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26th at Bacarella Funeral Home. Interment will be privately attended by family at Roselawn Memorial Park.
