Connie Marie Cordell – Mexico, 44 years of Flat Rock, MI, formerly of Monroe, MI. passed away Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 12:23 AM in her residence. Connie was born December 9, 1962 in Georgetown, SC. the daughter of the late William Grant and Mary Ruth (Helton – Johnson) Cordell. Connie was a 1981 graduate of Gibraltar Carlson High School and received her bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University. Connie married Daniel S. Mexico. Connie worked as a claims adjuster for John Hancock Insurance Company in Detroit, MI. She enjoyed boating. Connie is survived by her beloved children Jaime Bliss Cordell and Daniel Joseph Mexico, a brother William C. (Jackie) Cordell of Monroe, MI and her sister Carrie R. (Anthony) Paquin of Taylor, MI. Visitation for Connie will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 from 11:00 AM until funeral services celebrating her life at 1:00 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home. Fr. William Fisher pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroe will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
