Coella Grace McManaway, age 93, of Speedwell, TN, formerly of Monroe, MI, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at St. Mary's Health and Rehab in LaFollette, TN. Coella was born June 2, 1916 in Washburn, TN the daughter of William Jack and Matilda Hopson. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Kermit McManaway; children, Zachary McManaway, Daphne Weiss, and Jennifer Smith; grandchildren, Dale Smith and Johnnie Weiss; brothers, Jim, Vaughn and Connie; sisters, Beulah, Bess and Lorene. Survivors, daughter, Sharon Russell, Speedwell, TN; sons, Monte McManaway, Florence, SC, Clark McManaway, Luna Pier, MI; brother, Luke Hopson, Knoxville, TN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Saturday at Reece Funeral Home and 6-8 Sunday at Bacarella Funeral Home in Monroe, MI. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2010 at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd in Monroe, with Rev. Gary Weaver officiating.
