Clayton Fred Rains, age 64, of Monroe, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025 under the care of Heartland Hospice of Monroe.
Clayton was born January 3, 1961 in Monroe, he was the son of Warren G. and Marcetta (Dozier) Rains.
He retired from Laborers' Union Local 499. He loved time spent with family and friends, especially getting together for BBQs, playing poll, poker and shooting darts.
Clayton is survived by two siblings, Warren (Natalie) Rains, Jr and Brenda S. Monday both if Monroe; six nieces and nephews, Michael (Ronda) Monday, Lenora Evoe, Alicia Monday, Christopher (Brittany) Rains, Brittany Crews and Zachary Rains and many great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Marsha Lawson and Sandra Rains; a half-brother, Robert Rains and brother-in-law, James Lawson.
The family would like to thank Billy Price and the Pridemore family for always being by his side, it meant the world to him, he considered them his family.
Cremation has taken place and his remains have been interred at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle. Bacarella Funeral Home has assisted the family with arrangements for Clayton.
