Chester E. "Chet" Crutchfield, age 70, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 4, 2023.
Chet was born August 7, 1953 in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was the son of Chester and Lenore (Lucious) Crutchfield. He married Shirley Starks in 1983 in Fremont, Ohio.
Dr. Chet Crutchfield is the founder and Apostle of Sweetwater Rock Church in Monroe Michigan. Also, the president of Sweetwater, the soon coming Bible college, that was originally based in Phoenix Arizona that was founded by Dr. Glen Foster 40 years ago. He is also known as a prophetic Apostle and does conventions, conferences, and seminars around the world and believes this is the day of restoration of the local church and the universal church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Apostle Dr. Chet Crutchfield received the mantle to be president of Sweetwater Bible College from his Apostle Dr. Glenn Foster who has gone on to be with the Lord.
He attended Nyack college Graduate in Nyack, New York, is a graduate of International Bible college in San Antonio, Texas, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina and of Sweetwater Bible College in Glendale Arizona.
He has traveled and ministered in France, England, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, China, Japan, Mexico, as a prophetic Apostle. He has appeared on many Christian Television Networks 100 Huntley Street Canada TBN and Regional TBN Networks TCT and many others. Has won in 2002 Best Religious program titled Prophetic conversation and teaching with Dr. Chet Crutchfield. He has at many ministers and leaders conferences around the world.
His Mission: To help and see each believer walking in their God given passion, destiny and purpose through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ fulfilling each of their visions.
Chet also enjoyed watch football and following current political events.
He is survived by his daughter, Amber (Timothy) Langey of Fremont, Ohio; two grandchildren, Lincoln Scott Langley and Remmington Jeff Langley; five siblings, Sharlene Crutchfield, Melvin Crutchfield, Vanessa Simmons, Michelle Crutchfield and Omar Young. He will be missed by all the knew him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Church 1204 Kentucky Ave., Fremont, Ohio 43420.
The family would suggest the memorial contributions be made in his memory be made to Sweetwater Rock Ministries in Monroe, Michigan.
