Charlie Rose, age 60, a resident of the Borg Home in Temperance, MI for the past 6 years passed away Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 10:50 AM in Tendercare of Monroe. Charlie was born May 2, 1947 in Corbin, KY the son of Lawrence and Polly (Gross) Rose. Charlie was a very special person who enjoyed music, and the movie and nostalgia of the Wizard of Oz. Charlie is survived by his beloved parents Lawrence and Polly Rose of Carleton, MI, 2 loving brothers; Richard M. (Vickie) Rose, and Larry Tim (Laura Sue) Rose both of Monroe, MI and a loving sister Charlene (Daniel) McLaughlin Jr. of Carleton, MI. 7 cherished nephews and 1 cherished great niece and 2 cherished great nephews. Sadly he was preceded in death by a sister Kathy Rose. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home where funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 1:00 PM. The Rev. Eugene White Pastor of Bible Fellowship Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to Bible Fellowship Church or the Borg Group Home in Temperance, MI.
