Charles H. Stadler, age 80, a lifelong resident of Monroe, MI, passed away Monday, September 10, 2007. He had been in poor health for 1 year. Charles was born October 8, 1926 in Monroe, MI the son of the late Edgar J. and Elsie L. (Eipperle) Stadler. A 1944 graduate of Monroe High School, Charles went on to serve his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corpse serving in the Pacific Theater. Charles was employed by and retired from the Monroe Auto Equipment Company in Monroe. Charles was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a life member of the Monroe V.F.W Post 1138. Charles is survived by his beloved brother and sister in law Robert E. and Dorothy A. Stadler of Monroe, MI, 2 nephews, 1 niece, 4 great nephews and 1 great niece. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will held on Thursday, from 4 – 8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home where funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Stanley R. AuBuchon will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Monroe. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
