Charles E. “Chuck” Boudrie, age 79, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Rivergate Terrace, Riverview.

Charles was born May 14, 1947 in Monroe, he was the son of Lloyd and Matilda (Couture) Boudrie. He has been with his partner John Polturanus since 2001.

Chuck was a 1964 graduate of Monroe Catholic Central High School. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Chuck was a floral designer, he had worked for FTD designing arrangements that would be available nationwide.

He also enjoyed interior design, gardening, cooking and baking.

He is survived by his husband, John Poluranus; two daughters, Heather (James) Johnson and Holly (Gregg) Yaeger both of Monroe; granddaughter, Avery K. Yaeger; four step grandchildren, Quinn Yaeger, Amber Johnson, Jessica (Houston) Henry and Savannah Johnson; two step great grandchildren, Hadley and Hayden Henry; dear friend, Kathleen Boudrie; sisters-in-law, Elaine Boudrie and Jeannette Boudrie and special companion and best friend Poppy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters and eight brothers.

Memorial visitation will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2026 at St. Mary Church with Mass of the Resurrection at 12 p.m.
