Caterina (Tina) Gaglio, age 64, of Monroe, MI passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 8:06 am in her home surrounded by her loving family. Tina had been in poor health since July of 2007. Tina was born March 13, 1944 in Cinisi, Sicily the daughter of the Salvatore and Rosa (Vitale) Cusumano. Tina came to Monroe on November 28, 1960 from Sicily. On May 2, 1963 Tina married Faro Gaglio at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Monroe. Sadly he preceded her in death on July 25, 2007. Tina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. A homemaker, Tina enjoyed cooking, her grandchildren and being with family. Tina is survived by her beloved mother Rosa Cusumano of Monroe, her loving children; Cesare (Lisa) Gaglio of LaSalle, Salvatore (Kate) Gaglio of Chicago, IL and Pietra "Trina" (Wayne) Coulter of Monroe, 5 cherished grandchildren, Faro (Michael) and Christina Gaglio, and Sam, Jack, and Ben Coulter, 2 brothers; Giuseppe (Joann) Cusumano of Monroe, Procopio (Karen) Cusumano of LaSalle, and her sister Giovanna (Salvatore) Vitale of Wyandotte, MI. In addition to her husband, Tina was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12 – 8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home where prayers will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 10:15 AM a procession will follow to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroe where a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Father William Fisher pastor of St. Joseph's will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
