Our sweet Carter Robert Vogt was granted his wings on May 28, 2008 following a year long illness. Carter was a child who was full of love and melted the hearts of all who had the pleasure of meeting him. His kisses and hugs will be missed, but always remembered. Carter was born June 15, 2006 in Monroe, the son of Carl A. and Tracy A. (Kominek) Vogt. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ida, MI. In addition to his loving parents Carter is survived by his cherished brother Hazen Carl Vogt, his beloved grandparents Robert and Carolyn Vogt of Ida, MI and James and Terry Kominek of Erie, MI, his great grandparents Erich and Ann Knapp of Wyandotte, MI, Velda Jean Kominek of Erie, MI, and Mary Whipple of Erie, MI. Sadly he was preceded in death by his great grandparents Carl Dexter and Marion Vogt, John Kominek and Otto Whipple. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home where funeral services celebrating his short but triumphant life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 31, 2008. Michael Stewart pastoral minister of St. Mary's Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
