Carroll J. “Jerry” Kinkade, age 56 of Monroe, MI, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026 in his home.

Born October 25, 1969 in Monroe, Jerry was the son of the late Clyde and Mary (Charles) Kinkade.

Jerry owned and operated Kinkade Contracting for 20+ years. An avid deer hunter, it would be an understatement to say he was passionate about his hobby. When it wasn’t deer season, he was preparing for deer season.

Jerry is survived by his fiancée, Penny Kilgus: Children, Shelby Kinkade, Tracy (Chelsea) Croft and Heather Croft; two brothers, Chris (Daphne) Kinkade and Charles Kinkade; three grandchildren, Zayne, Ryker, and Wyatt Croft; nephew, Wyatt Kinkade; niece, Kelly Cook; and lifelong childhood friend, Tom Notario.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Kilgus; brother, Clyde Kinkade, III, and nephew, David Revels, Jr.

Family and friends may visit from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 23rd at Bacarella Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Rev. Roy Southerland will officiate followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate thoughts and memories of Jerry when you “go do something outdoors”.
