Carrie Lynn (Nunn) LaRoy, 32 years of LaSalle, MI passed away June 2, 2010.
Carrie was born October 19, 1977 in Paulding, OH the daughter of Vaughn A. and Linda D. (Sommers) Nunn.
Carrie attended Monroe Public School and went on to Eastern Michigan University where she received her Dieticians License.
On January 29, 2002 Carrie married her best friend Andrew J. LaRoy in Toledo, OH.
Carrie was a homemaker and worked at Carl's Hide-A-Way in Ida as a waitress.
Carrie attended the Lower Light Baptist in Petersburg, MI. She enjoyed gardening, University of Michigan Football and family barbeques. Helping others is what Carrie did best and taking care of her family and children brought her the most joy in life.
Carrie is survived by her beloved husband Andrew J., 2 cherished children; Darrion Andrew Vaughn LaRoy and Brooke-Lynn Darlene LaRoy, her loving mother Linda D. Nunn of Monroe, and 2 caring sisters; Jody Raelene (Adam) Nunn-Scaggs of Monroe and Cathy Jo Nunn of Newport. Sadly Carrie was preceded in death by a treasured son Anthony "Dink" Govan in 1994 and her father in 2006.
Carrie's family will receive friends on Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 10:00 AM in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd. in Monroe, until a memorial service celebrating her life at 2:00 PM. The Rev. David Voss, pastor of the Petersburg Lower Light Church will officiate.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Carrie's family.
