A beautiful angel, Calub Riley Williams, 2, of Rose City, formerly of Monroe, was taken on September 19, 2006. He was very loved by all who knew him, and he will be missed dearly. He will always be remembered as a beautiful, vibrant, loving, forgiving, innocent child. He was born April 12, 2004 in West Branch, MI to Johnathon S. Williams and Ashley Dawn Sharpe. He is survived by his mother and little brother, Casey Ryan Williams of Rose City, MI, his father of Birch Run, MI, grandparents, Kenneth (Cheryl) Duvall Sr. of Newport, MI, Rick Williams of Birch Run, MI, and Thelma Williams of Long Lake, MI, great grandparents, William Sharpe of Harrogate, TN, Ruth Ann Evans, Nancy Pickard, and James (Shirley) McBee all of Monroe, MI, Ross (Alice) Williams of Hale, MI, and Pete (Tammy) Ward of Sterling, MI, aunts and uncles, Joshua Sharpe and Kevin (Sarah) Duvall of Newport, MI, Kenneth (Kristine) Duvall Jr. and Timothy (Cristian) Warthen of Monroe, Richard Sharpe of Norfolk, VA, and Jeremy Williams of Long Lake, MI, cousins, Destinee, Kenneth III, and Haley Duvall, Timothy, Patrick, and Thomas Warthen all of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Melvin Boudrie, great great grandparents, George (Bernice) Pickard, a cousin, Frances Duvall, and many more who will be there to greet him with open arms.
Visitation for Calub will be held Sunday from 12-8 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI 48161, where services will be held Monday at 11 AM. Father Stephen Rooney, pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Monroe will officiate with burial taking place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe. Memorial gifts in his name may be given to a trust fund set up at Monroe Bank and Trust, 102 E. Front Street, Monroe, MI 48161.
