Brian S. Haines, age 57, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Brian was born April 22, 1964 in Trenton, he was the son of Alfred E. and Dolores I. (Harwood) Haines.
He was a graduate of Monroe High School. He loved the outdoors and doing outdoor activities like, chopping wood, camping and storm chasing.
Brian's family owns and runs Camp Lord Willing he enjoyed working around the campground and helping the families staying there. He was particularly close with his sister Bridget, who passed away on January 8, 2022, he liked to help her care for her animals and build cages for her animals.
He is survived by a son, Brian Bentschnieder; eight siblings, Alfred Ronnie (Debbie) Haines of Monroe, Ricky L. (Carolyn) Haines of Monroe, Pamela J. (Greg) Bentschneider of Toledo, Sherrie D. Phillips of Monroe, Candi B. (Jim) Cosens of Alanson, Joey J. Haines, Charles A. Haines of Monroe, Heather A. Haines of Monroe and several nieces and nephews and their families.
He is preceded by her parents and an infant brother, Matthew Haines and sister, Bridget Haines.
The family has decided to not have a funeral service at this time, they are planning to have a joint Celebration of Life for Brian and Bridget sometime in June at Camp Lord Willing, where everyone can be outdoors, share a meal and tell stories. When a date has been decided the family will share the information through Facebook.
