Brenda L. Cordle, age 46, of Newport, MI passed away Monday, September 17, 2007. Brenda was born May 11, 1961 in Monroe, MI the daughter of Carl and Dorothy (Laginess) Schneider. Brenda was a 1979 graduate of Jefferson High School and worked as a laborer for Laborer's Local 499. Brenda loved spending time with her grandchildren, her family and her friends. She also enjoyed bingo and camping. Brenda is survived by her beloved mother Dorothy Schneider of S. Rockwood, MI, her 4 loving children, Jeffery C. Cordle of the Upper Peninsula, Crystal N. Cordle of Monroe, MI, Brandi L. Cordle of Taylor, MI, and Heidi L. Cordle of Crystal River, FL, 5 cherished grandchildren, Haileigh, Jasmine, Hayden, McKailah, and Brendan. 2 brothers, Jimmy and Edwin (Joan) Schneider of S. Rockwood, MI, 3 sisters, Debbie Getter of Monroe, MI, Glenda (Marvin) Garrett of North Carolina, and Linda (Mickey) Bush of Chelsea, MI, her uncle Eddie Laginess, several nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends. Sadly she was preceded in death by her father Carl in 1992, her grandparents Cordelia and Elmer Laginess, her grandson Cameron and her aunt Marian Laginess. Visitation for Brenda will be held from 2-9 PM on Wednesday and 4-9 PM on Thursday in the Bacarella Funeral Home where funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Roy Southerland will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Newport.
