Bonnie J. Davis, age 78, of Monroe, Michigan, passed away at her home at 9:45 A.M., Thursday, November 14, 2013.
She was born in Monroe April 24, 1935 the daughter of Sillis and Lora Mae (Ford) Phillips. She was a graduate of Monroe High School and had worked as a secretary at Detroit Edison until retiring. She had attended Monroe Christian Mission Alliance in Monroe.
She was married to Sheldon Pfefferle, Bill Yoakum, Ernest Davis and Neil Eighmey. Bonnie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed travelling and antiques, watching tennis and ice skating and decorating and re-doing homes.
She is survived by her son Steven Pfefferle of Monroe; daughters Debra Webb of Monroe, Lori Donatelli of Oregon and Brandy (John) Maynard of St. Joseph, Michigan; grandchildren Chad Webb, Adrian Webb, Alexandria Donatelli, Sydney Donatelli, Jacob Maynard, Peyton Maynard and Ethan Maynard; also five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather Ralph Earl.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 - 8 P.M. at the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI 48161 (734-241-4600) Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 21, 2013. Officiating will be the Rev. Kenny Spain of the Monroe Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in LaSalle.
