Beverly J. Small, age 87, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Well Spring Lutheran Services.
Beverly was born January 5, 1936 in Carleton, Michigan, she was the daughter of Clarence and AnnaBelle (Beach) Bomyea. She was a proud graduate of Jefferson High School receiving her diploma in 1985.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Lodge 2254 Monroe, serving as president from 1982-1983, and the Lynn C. Weeman Post 514 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Ida.
Beverly was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Dundee and enjoyed reading, crafting, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and singing country music.
She is survived by five children, Duane A. (Rhonda) Small of Taylor, DeeAnn L. Evans of Berea, KY, Anita D. Begley of Louisville, KY, Melody J. (Wes) Sharpe of Newport and Heidi E. Girard of Monroe; two siblings, Clarence (Martha) Bomyea of Taylor and Nancy (Karl) Kuriwchak of Leesburg, FL; twelve grandchildren, Seventeen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Bomyea; mother, AnnaBelle Revard; stepfather, Fred Revard; son, Wilfred L. Small, III; great grandson, Kyle O'Brien and two siblings, Richard Bomyea and Betty Dow.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI 48161, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday December 11th. Rev. James Brown, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
