Betty Ann Weiss, 72 years, of LaSalle, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord On Sunday, October 24, 2021 in her home.
Born March 31, 1949 in Monroe, Michigan, Betty was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Helen M. (Holesko) Balent. Betty was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church. She attended St. Michael's Grade School, Monroe High School, and Monroe County Community College. She also attended St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
In May of 1974 Betty married her beloved husband Robert J. Weiss in Monroe.
Betty worked as a utility worker for Ace Paper Company in Monroe for over 20 years until her retirement.
Betty enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, trips to various casinos and gardening.
Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Bob, two loving daughters: Christine R. (Mark Thompson) Yuna of Monroe and Jennifer L. (Matthias) Soltis of Rockwood, seven cherished grandchildren: Stephanie (Dave), David (Aerielle), Jessica (Steven) Bethanne (Jay), Courtney (Shane), Kendalyn, and Cierra, ten treasured great grandchildren and her sister, Cathy J. (Donald) Daniels of Toledo, OH.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Michael W. Yuna, a brother, Robert Balent, and two sisters: Dolores Dumas, and Virginia Lozano.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
In keeping with Betty's wishes private family visitation was held followed by cremation.
Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan is assisting Betty's family with arrangements.
