Betty L. (Keck) Foster, age 54 of Monroe, MI passed away Friday, November 3, 2006 at 10:15 PM in Mercy Memorial Hospital. Betty was born October 6, 1952 in Monroe, MI. the daughter of the late Lloyd Keck and Anita (Ayers) Keck Gera. Betty was employed as a laborer for Autolign Manufacturing Group in Milan, MI. Prior to her work at Autolign Betty was a bus driver for Lee Eye Center. Betty received her GED from Monroe Public Schools and was a member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed playing with her grandsons, her pets, walking, and sewing. Betty is survived by 2 loving sons; Justin L. Keck and James Paul Short both of Monroe, MI. 2 sisters Janet (Wil) Hinojosa of Rossford, OH and Nancy (Timothy) Amrein of Washburn, WI. her fiance' Gordon Santure whom she made her home with and 2 cherished grandsons. Betty was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation for Betty will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home where funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Roy Southerland pastor of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be given to the Monroe County Humane Society
