Benjamin S. Collingsworth, age 37, of Taylor, formerly of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Regency of Taylor.
Ben was born July 28, 1988 in Trenton, MI. He was the son of Scott A. and Gina L. (Burt) Collingsworth.
He had attended Monroe Schools and was a graduate of Orchard High School.
Ben had worked at Guardian Glass and at Taylor Welded Blanks.
Ben liked playing video games and Pokémon GO; watching wrestling, going to concerts and listening to rock music. He was also a Detroit Red Wings fan.
He is survived by his father, Scott; three children Xadrian, Amelia and Eugene; grandfather, William Collingsworth; a sister, Alyssa Collingsworth; two nephews Kolton Brooks and Kaisen Brooks; aunts and uncles, Eugene (Shawna) Burt, Patti (Al) Biedlingmaier, Luis Alamo and Tracy (Dean) Dixon and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gina; grandparents, Judy Collingsworth, Eugene and Barbara Burt and an aunt, Tina Alamo.
Memorial visitation will be held Monday, January 5, 2026 from 2 p.m. until a memorial service begins at 6 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe with Chaplain Joel Luallen officiating.
