Barbara Jo Davis, age 70 of Monroe, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025 in her home.
Born May 22, 1955 in Monroe, Barb was the daughter of the late James and Myrtle (Chapman) Davis.
In her younger years, Barb was employed as a waitress at the Golden Drum Stick Restaurant and then as a nurse's aide at Frenchtown Nursing Care Center, both formerly of Monroe.
Of her many hobbies and interests, Barb enjoyed visiting farm animals, feeding deer, and playing bingo.
Barb is survived by three children, Vernon, Angela, and Jennifer Davis, all of Toledo, Ohio; sister, Bonnie (James) Wilfong of Monroe; and five grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jesse and Sarah Davis; brother, James "Jimmy" Davis, Jr.; and two nephews, Robert Henderson, Jr. and Ronald Henderson.
Private visitation was held at Bacarella Funeral Home followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in accordance with family wishes.
