Barbara "BLDFM" Barron, age 65 of Monroe, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 in her home.
Barb was born March 16, 1957, in Monroe and was the daughter of Bernard H. and Dorothy M. (Trombly) Barron.
She was a 1976 graduate of Monroe High School and retired from Monroe County Parks and Recreation.
Barb loved playing softball, playing in recreational leagues in Monroe for many years and was known as the "Homerun Queen". She was also an avid pool player and Detroit Tigers fan.
She enjoyed going to estate sales and collecting different items. She loved to hot rod around town in her yellow 1974 Dodge Charger and show it off at various car shows.
Barb is survived by three of her siblings, Ronald M. (Debra) Barron of Monroe, Brenda M. (Terry) Pulcheon of Monroe and Daniel A. (Wallace Glenn) Barron of Atlanta, GA; her lifelong best friend, Jeff Doom, her buddy Bob "Junior" Bashaw and several nieces and nephews and their families.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Richard Barron and Roger Barron and two sisters, Betsey Barron and Fran Yanez.
In accordance with Barb's wishes cremation has taken place and a family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Humane Society of Monroe County.
