Arthur Love, age 105, of Ida, passed away peacefully in his home Monday, April 25, 2022.
Arthur was born September 6, 1916 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Harry and Sarah (Eshowsky) Love. He married Margaret Tjernstrom in August 1948; they spent the next 58 years together before she passed in February 2007.
He was a graduate of Northwestern High School in Detroit.
Arthur serviced his country during World War II in the US Army Air Force as a B25 pilot.
He was an office manager for Sun Oil Company for many years before his retirement.
Arthur was a member of the Moose, Elks, Monroe Senior Healthy Living and Bedford Seniors.
He is survived by his two children, Susan (Joe) Lopez of Ida and Keith (Cheryl) Love of Farmington Hills; a sister, Shirley Katz of New York and two grandchildren, Colin and Catherine.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William and Sol Love.
In accordance with Arthur's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Monroe Senior Healthy Living or Bedford Seniors.
