Anita Louise Caldwell, 51 years, of Monroe, MI went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11:52 AM in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.
Born July 7, 1961 in Port Huron, MI, Anita was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Emogene (Banks) Caldwell. Anita grew up in Port Huron and moved to Monroe in 1978. She was a 1979 graduate of Monroe High School. Anita furthered her education by attending some small business courses in college.
Anita worked for Guardian Glass, Jefferson Smurfit, Foodtown, and Rent A Center.
Anita was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe. She enjoyed caring for her plants and her animals. Anita was a very outgoing person who gave of herself to help others. She was also a very loving and caring mother to her son Brock.
Anita is survived by her loving son Brock of Monroe, six brothers: Larry Butler of California, Raymond Caldwell of Flint, MI, Manzel Caldwell of California, Tyrone, Sammy, and DeWayne Caldwell all of Port Huron, MI, and a sister: Imogene Caldwell of Chicago, IL. In addition to her parents Anita was preceded in death by one brother Brian.
In keeping with her wishes cremation will be held. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Second Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe.

The Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., in Monroe is assisting Anita's son Brock with funeral arrangements. ?
