Angie Marie Struth, age 49, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the University of Michigan Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Angie was born August 13, 1977, in Monroe. She was the daughter of Thomas Ausmus and Helga Schneider. She married Jason R. Struth February 22, 2008.

She graduated from Monroe High School in 1995. She loved to read and she cherished the time she spent with her family.

She was employed by Kroger and worked at the N. Dixie location as the deli manager for several years. Her most recent job was working for Sodexo at Monroe High School as a cashier for their lunch program.

She is survived by her husband, Jason; three daughters, Breeanna (Juan) Rodriguez, Jaylynn Struth (Ian Senio) and Emma Struth; two grandchildren, Karter and Noah Rodriguez; her mother and stepfather, Helga Schneider and Andy Parker; four siblings, Katharina Ausmus (Beep Jett) , Samantha Ausmus, Thomas Ausmus and Jared Reece (Janell); parents-in-law Sam and Janet Struth; brothers-in-law, Sam (Kelly) Struth, Jr. and Brandon (Jayna) Struth; nieces and nephews, Mylee (Chance) Stricklen, Marah (Nick) Foust; Anistynn, Gabriella, Josephine, Rebecca and Hudson Struth; A’marion and Zane Jett; Ryllee, Ryenn, Na’rya and Marvin Schneider; Tommi Ausmus, Zeke, Scarlett and Gracie; Brynn, Jenna and Jesse Reese.

She is preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

In accordance with Angie’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Bacarella Funeral Home has been entrusted with assisting the family. A Celebration of Life will take place, at a later date, which is yet to be determined.
