Angela Jo Stoner, 48 years, a lifelong resident of Monroe, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Born October 2, 1976 in Monroe, Angie was the daughter of Norman Lee and Joann M. (Turner) Stoner, Jr. Angie attended Monroe Public Schools and was a 1994 graduate of Monroe High School. Angie went on to receive an Associate's Degree in Business from Ashford University.
Angie worked as a customer service representative at Foodtown, Kroger, and at PNC Bank in Monroe.
Angie was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and watching basketball, especially the Detroit Pistons. She was also a fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Toledo Mud Hens. More than anything Angie loved time spent with family.
Angie is survived by her loving mother: Joann M. Stoner of Monroe, two brothers: Randy (Dana) Bussell of Erie, and Jon Bussell of Monroe, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Sadly, her father preceded her in death on October 10, 2020.
Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2 – 8 pm at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161 where funeral services celebrating Angie's life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00 am. Rev. B.J. McDaniel, pastor of One Way Christian Fellowship Church, will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
