Andrew Scott Harris, age 37 of Monroe, MI, passed away Monday, September 7, 2026 at Corewell Health Trenton Hospital due to complications from cancer.

Born November 22, 1988 in Monroe, Andrew was the son of Arley and Dorothy (Bray) Harris. He attended Monroe Public Schools and graduated from Orchard Center High School in 2008.

Andrew was employed by Monroe Public Schools in the mail delivery department before working as a security guard at Mall of Monroe. Most recently, he was employed as a clerk at NAPA Auto Parts.

Andrew is survived by eight siblings: Terry Harris, Ron Harris, Judy Harris, Brenda White, Arley (Patricia) Harris, Jr., Howard Harris, Novalynn (David) Stremmell, and Matt Bray. Additional chosen family include the Ellerman’s, Jim, Sharon, Amy and Cady, Christy, Matt and Dj.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Wendy Bray.

All are welcome to attend a memorial visitation at Bacarella Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 18th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. A celebration of Andrew’s life will begin at 3 p.m. with Rev. Roy Southerland, pastor of Lambertville Community Church officiating.

The family considerately request that any monetary acts of kindness be directed to Novalynn to assist with funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
