Andrea J. "Oddy" Bolton, 68 years, a lifelong resident of Monroe, MI passed away Friday, October 25, 2013 in Monroe.
Born November 22, 1944 in Monroe, Oddy was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Dorothy (Pratt) Ornowsky. Oddy attended Monroe Public Schools and was a 1962 graduate of Monroe High School.
Oddy worked as clerk for First District Court in Monroe from which she retired in 2004. Oddy also worked part time as a cashier for Blockbuster Video as well as working for several other companies in Monroe.
Oddy enjoyed watching television, especially The Price Is Right and painting home interiors.
Oddy is survived by her son and daughter in law: Skip N. and Tammy F. (Rice) Bolton of Monroe, two grandchildren: Blake and Cheyenne, and two sisters: Diana Molenda of Monroe and Joyce (Robert) Brown of Curtis, MI. In addition to her parents, Oddy was preceded in death by an infant son and a sister, Doris Ornowsky.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI 48161 where funeral services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Wm. Robert Baltrip, pastor of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Mercy Memorial Hospice of Monroe.
