Ahlona J. Beason, 10 years, of Monroe, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord along with her mother Amy Mechelle Beason on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in front of their home.
Born October 17, 2015 in Monroe, Ahlona was the grandchild and adopted daughter of Brian J. and Amy M. (Marlow) Beason. Ahlona was preparing to enter the 5th Grade at Ida Elementary School in Ida, Michigan. She attended Monroe Full Gospel Church along with her mom.
Ahlona was currently preparing for the Little Miss Monroe Pageant. In 2022 she was crowned Tiny Miss Monroe. As well as being a beautiful young lady, Ahlona was also a bit of a tomboy and didn’t mind getting a bit dirty by playing outside, jumping on the trampoline, and riding her dirt bike. Like her mom, she loved time spent with family.
Ahlona is survived by her loving father, Brian; four cherished siblings, Christopher Hayter, Brianne Hayter, Arione Beason, and Ashton Beason, her grandfather, Jerry (Cherie Emerick) Marlow; and her grandmother, Donna Jean Bono.
Along with her mom, Ahlona was preceded in death by her biological father, David Hayter; her grandfather, Larry Beason; and her grandmother, Rosemarie Myers.
Visitation for both Ahlona and Amy will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 2-7 pm at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd. Monroe, Michigan, 48161, where on Friday, August 14, 2026, funeral services celebrating both their lives will begin at 11:00 am. Rev. Harold Raines, pastor of Monroe Full Gospel Church, will officiate. Interment will follow at Historic Woodland Cemetery in Monroe.
