Aaron Matthew Pitts, age 24, passed away unexpectedly, December 10, 2022.
Aaron was born June 25, 1998 in Monroe, MI. He was the second of four children born to Matthew Pitts and Ann (Bentley) Miller.
He was a loving son, brother, father, and friend. Aaron valued people and relationships. He loved being with family and friends. Aaron knew how to light up a room with his smile and gave the best hugs. He knew how to make people laugh. He had a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. He loved people. He was genuine and kind. He had a compassionate heart and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He went above and beyond when it came to helping others. Aaron loved to have fun. He enjoyed music, driving his car while blasting his music, playing video games (especially online with his brothers), and he appreciated good food. Aaron was a joy to be around. Those who knew him would describe him as a big teddy bear. Aaron loved his dog, Benji. One of Aaron's favorite places in the world was his grandparent's property. It was there that he learned how much he loved the outdoors. He learned about the process of making maple syrup. He hunted there for the first time. He enjoyed riding his three-wheeler "big red" on the trails through the woods on that property. He enjoyed it even more when he was riding along with his siblings.
Aaron attended school in many places due to the number of moves by the family. He started school at Triumph Academy in Monroe, MI, then Springwood School in Lanett, AL, Shepherd High School in Shepherd, MI and finally Monroe High School. Aaron graduated from Monroe High in 2016.
Aaron was gifted with a natural mechanical ability. He thoroughly enjoyed the CAD and automotive classes in high school. The jobs he held allowed him the opportunity to learn and grow in this gift. He gained experience and certifications in various programs. He worked as an Automation Technician within Challenge Manufacturing in Grand Rapids, MI.
Aaron is survived by his parents Matthew Pitts of Grand Rapids, MI and Ann (Bentley) Miller and stepdad Eric Miller of Monroe, MI, brothers Zachary (Emma) Pitts of Racine, WI, and Caleb Pitts of Racine, WI, and sister, Allyson Pitts; daughters, Adalynn and Elianna Pitts; nieces, Ariadne and Freya Pitts, and grandparents, Paula (Hills) Leonard of Mt Pleasant, MI, Oma (McBee) Bentley, Norma Jean (Wellman) Bentley, Don and Marye Jagow of Defiance, OH and Dawn Beamish of Liberty Lake, WA. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Aaron is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl R Leonard and Ronald E Bentley.
Family and friends may visit from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26th at Bacarella Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27th. Josh Bentley of Redeemer Fellowship Church will officiate.
