Diane K. Chickeral, 69 years, a lifelong resident of Monroe, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 9, 2023 in her home.
Born April 11, 1954 in Monroe, Diane was the daughter of the late Roland W. and Helen J. (Copi) Chickeral. Diane was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a 1972 graduate of Monroe High School.
On September 24, 1998, Diane married her beloved husband, Randy J. Goins in Monroe.
Diane was employed as an office manager for Value Options in Monroe for 15 years, from which she retired in 2008. Diane was also a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family, she especially enjoyed having her family over for Sunday dinners.
Diane attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Monroe. She loved the
outdoors and treasured her childhood memories growing up at the beach, swimming, ice skating, and roller skating. Diane also enjoyed playing softball, taking her daily walks, going on bike rides, beach vacations, and a glass or two of red wine. Diane loved her family, especially her grandchildren. "Nonna", as her grandkids called her, was their biggest fan when it came to their sporting events and other activities. She cherished their trips to the zoo, to the Monroe County Fair, to the apple orchard, and all their time playing games in the backyard.
Diane will be remembered as kind, caring, compassionate and devoted to family. She was loved by all who knew her.
Diane is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 25 years, Randy, two loving children: Raeann (Chad) Ramsby of New Boston, and Ryan M. Wilburn of Newport, three cherished grandchildren: Tyler C. and Addison R. Ramsby, and Kinsley M. Wilburn, and five siblings: Susan M. (David) Jarzynka of Gig Harbor, WA, Patricia A. Fountain of Monroe, Bill (Marjorie) Chickeral of Monroe, Nancy (Mario) DeFelice of Maybee, and Larry (Rhonda) Chickeral of Flat Rock. Diane was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial visitation will be held at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S, Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161, on Sunday, September 24, 2023 beginning at 11:00 am followed by a memorial a service celebrating Diane's life at 4:00 pm.
