Clarence Gilbert Landoski, age 78, of Monroe, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Arbor Hospice Residence, Saline.
Clarence was born August 29, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Frank and Clara (Bayma) Landoski.
He attended St. Patrick Grade School, Carleton, a graduate of Monroe Catholic Central and a member of Divine Grace Parish (St. Patrick Church).
Clarence worked for Ford Motor Company before his retirement.
He was a Life member of the NRA, member of Taylor Pistol Club and AARL (the national association for amateur radio operators) and his radio call sign was KD8MGT. He was a member of EAA and flew in many aerobatic competitions at Oshkosh and Fond du Lac.
Clarence also enjoyed bowling, deer and elk hunting and photography.
He is survived by two siblings, Anthony (Christine) Landoski of Carleton and Imelda Knowles of Stevensville, MI; ten nieces and nephews, Laura A. (Rodney) Harris, Lynn (Dean) Fedewa, Lisa (Matt) Geisel, Terry (Ellen) Landoski, John (Cathy) Landoski, Debra Clor, Sheryl Brewer, Jill Knowles, Jerry (Monica) Knowles, and Ronald Smith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Frank Landoski, John Landoski, Laurine Lang and Dolores Smith.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Divine Grace School or SMCC.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, where funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Deacon Tracy Esper officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Carleton.
