Margaret M. Turner, age 43 of Monroe, passed away at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ypsilanti, MI. Her passing is the result of declining health for the past two years.
Born on July 20, 1977 in Monroe, Margaret was the daughter of Willie and Pamela (Pilon) Ray. She attended Jefferson High School and graduated from Monroe County Community College with a degree in nursing. Margaret was employed by Walter Reuther Psychiatric Hospital in Wayne, MI as a registered nurse until her health required her to medically retire.
Margaret is survived by her three cherished children, Ashley Ray, Alyssa Ray, and Jacob Turner; her loving mother, Pam Ray of Monroe; and her dear sisters, Anne Marie Carstensen and Jennifer Ray, both of Monroe. Sadly, Margaret was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Beth Ann Ray.
Family and friends may visit from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14th at Bacarella Funeral Home with funeral service at 7 p.m. Deacon Michael Stewart of St. Mary Catholic Church will officiate. Cremation will follow in accordance with Margaret's wishes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Pam Ray for the future care and benefit of Margaret's children.
