David F. Oetting, age 60, of Monroe, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at Beaumont Hospital Trenton.
David was born June 12, 1961, in Monroe, he was the son of George H. and Julia E. (Smith) Oetting.
He was a hi lo driver at Guardian Glass before retiring.
David was a 1979 graduate of Jefferson High School and a member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing softball, golfing and bowling.
He is survived by his children, Christopher Oetting of Holland, Ohio and Sarah (Maxwell)Young of Newport; four grandchildren, Matthew, Samantha, Eliza and Mathias; siblings, Nancy E. (Thomas) Pirritano of Ellicott City, MD, Wayne J. (Debra) Oetting of Athens, TN, Kimberly S. Oetting of Peoria, AZ and Michael S. (Sandra) Oetting of Monroe.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
In accordance with David's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date, the family will reach out to people when the arrangements have been made.
