#5 Leo Gorajek 2011-12-28 03:42 Ernie and I stated teaching the same day and retired 33 years later the same day. I got the chance to know Ernie both in and out of school. He was a great person & great teacher. One memory that stands out was how proud he was of Jillian. He would often talk of her while we ate lunch at Monroe High.
He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Leo

#6 Dick Lutz 2011-12-28 11:36 Words can't express the loss I feel. I can only wish I had been able to help him at Jenny's as he asked. Maybe, the week would have ended differently. Maybe I could have had more laughs, more fun and a lot more good times left to enjoy with him. All those good times that we shared will not be forgotten both at work and play.
With much pain in my heart,
Dick
