James F. Adkins III, 29 years, of Monroe, MI passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, OH.

Jim was born March 27, 1981 in Trenton, MI the son of James F. and Christina (Siefert) Adkins Jr. Jim attended Monroe Public Schools and Monroe High School.

Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting and working out.

Jim is survived by two cherished daughters; Madison and Star Lynn, his father James Adkins Jr. of Monroe, his mother Christina Siefert of Pickstown, SD, his brother Jeremiah (Dyanna) Adkins of Erie, MI, his grandfather Ron Trombley of LaSalle, and his grandmother Darlene Hatwin of Pickstown, SD. Sadly he was preceded in death by his sister Katrina Adkins Treadway, his grandmother Sue Adkins Trombley, and grandfathers; James F. Adkins Sr. and Donald Siefert.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., in Monroe (734) 241-4600 where funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. B.J. McDaniel pastor of Frenchtown Missionary Baptist Church will officiate.
